End of round 4, start of round 5

With 16 families, one round can seem like a long time, but round 4 is finally finished.

* Mia Draper and Olaf Verbon both graduated from SimsVille University, Mia graduated in Biology and Olaf in Art, in round 5 we will find them in the Dex Homes, where the Young family and the Belio family are already living.

* Xiang Zang and Tosca de Groot are attendting SimsVille University during round 5.

Since taxes have to be payed every 5th round, round 5 is the first round where the families will pay taxes, I wonder how this will go. At the end of the round I will post a list of my richest and poorest sims, like Maisie did here.

I will also try to make a family picture at the end of the round, and post them in "Families in SimsVille"

Mokara 1 - Round 4

The Mokara Family

Hans is 28 and Yin is 25

Yin: Aah, renting, I wish we were able to buy, but renting will do for now. It's not big, but at least we have a room over our heads.
And then there is the love of my life; Hans Mokara. I don't know why, but Quan never really liked him, he even didn't want me to marry him, but who can ignore true love?
The last couple of nights we have been talking about expanding our little family. Both my brother and sister already have kids, and we really want some too.
When I found out I was pregnant, Hans thanked me a million times. I really don't know why, but I adore the way he thanks me, so I let him!
Soon enough it was time to meet the newest addition to the family; meet Melina Mokara! Hans was thrilled about having a girl, he said that if she looks anything like me, who would want 10 like her!
Since we both want a large family, we thought it was time to talk about a second child. Since we live in a small apartment, and aren't able to buy any time soon, we thought it was wise to wait a little bit.
Melina turned one, so we will have our hands full on her. I was a little bit disappointed to have missed her birthday, because of work. But she looks amazing anyway, and she really adores her father!
Since she turned one, Melina makes sure we know she's in the house. I'm so glad we decided to wait for a second child, I don't think I could have handled being pregnant and taking care of a toddler at the same time!!

Note: I realise the last updates are a little bit boring, but nothing really happend in their lifes. They are all new starting families, so they are all busy with having kids, and taking care of them!

Belio 1 - Round 4

The Belio Family

Bram is 26, Ling is 25 and Johanna is 1

Bram: Following Ling's brother, Quan, to SimsVille, was a good decision. Since there are lots of young families here, there are more children to play with for Johanna, and with the money I've inherited from my parents, we were able to buy a small shop.
So now I spend my days selling toys to adults at Belio's Bunk, my own shop! The first day was a test run. Ling had the day off, so I was able to go without hiring a nanny, because we don't have the money for a nanny. Customers really seem to love the place as do I. I wonder what they will think of the custom made toys, once I will start selling them.
When I came home, I found Ling with a sunburn. I think it must have hurt a lot!!
The next day, Ling had to go to work, so I stayed home. While Johanna was playing, I started crafting on my custom made toys. It's harder than I thought.
In the mean time I have to look after Johanna too. And she really is a handfull! But soon she will start school, and then I will have all the time I need.
Like I said, Johanna became 4 really soon. She really wanted to test all the toys I made. And looking at her face, I couldn't refuse!
That same nigh Ling started talking about a second child! I'm really not ready for another one, but than she started talking about love, and that she really loves me, and that she really, really, really wants another child. And again, looking at her face, I couldn't refuse.
Hearing her get up one night, to get a snack, I knew we were expecting again!

Note: Bram went to Belio's Bunk a lot more than that one time at the start, he even was rewarded with the Best of the Best Award, but like some other important moments, I forgot to take pictures.

Min 1 - Round 4

The Min Family

Quan is 30, Chu is 29, Anna is 2

Quan: SimsVille. I think it was a good decision. We don't have much money, not yet anyway. The house looks great, but we only have the basic things for now, but we don't mind.
Anna is doing fine. I think she likes the new house. I think she also likes to have her own room, she doesn't use to have that in our small apartment in the city. We saved a lot of money living there, but it was time to move.
Chu and I think Anna might be a little bit loneley. So we talked about having another child, and decided to go with it.
Soon enought Anna became 4. I can't believe we're allready there. Soon she'll turn 11, and I will have to keep the boys away, this is all going a little bit too fast!
Chu found out she's pregnant. So soon we will have another little bundle of joy in our family. I called my sister righ away to tell them! They were both so exited. We also made plans for the weekend, and desided to have lunch at The Pier on saturday. It will be nice, just the three of us together again.
Since Chu became pregnant, she started craving for grilled cheese even more! She always had a liking for that, but now it's even stronger. I don't know what she likes about it so much, but I gues the most important thing is that she's happy....
And then we welcomed Benny in our midst. I was glad to have a boy, but apparently they are harder to take care off when they are baby!
Chu immidiatly started calling her work, to tell them she would be back the next day. She just needs to be around people.

Zang 2 - Round 4

The Zang Family

Wang is 40, Chao is 37 and Bai is 8

Chao: I can't believe we're living in a trailer parc!!! I didn't expect us to get someting very expesive, but a trailer parc I didn't expect either!
Of course it would have been ok it the neighbors were fine. There are 4 other trailers in the parc, and I only get along fine with 1 of the neighbors. One we don't see at all, and the other 2 have already made sure we have to pay extra for our furniture, and that Wang won't get a promotion, not that he's going for one.
There are no other kids living here, so Bai is the only one, and has to find something to keep himself busy. Most of the time he brings home friends from school, and spends the afternoon in the playground in front of our trailer.
Wang and I are getting along fine. If we have a free minute, we are 'playing' in the bedroom. I just hope we don't get any more children, one is actually one too many!
To keep Bai company, we boight him a dog, Rambo. So when his friends have gone home, he plays fetch with the dog. I think he was pretty happy with the dog. Wang has found a new pasion, he's not hanging in front of the TV all the time anymore, now he started painting. Knowing Wang, he will give up soon.
With a teen-boy in the house, I thought all the childish things were gone, but I was wrong. To get his frustration of, Wang now jumps on the cought. When I ask him about it, he said it was beter doing that than slapping the neihgbors, who can argue with that?
Bai now is a teen, and has gotten a warning from school, to do beter his best. Wang and I are not like other parents, we don't mind if he doesn't do his homework, he's free to do whatever he wants. We haven't been always like this, when he was first born, I did my best to teach him everything, but since Wang is a child him self, he couldn't care less about about, and frankly, I don't have the energy to do it all be myself! Since the warning, he has been doing some homework, but he's too far behind, so he's not good at it!
One thing he's good at, is playing cards. One night he went out, on his own, all the way to Upper SimsVille, and he won us money playing cards.
Wang is rather happy at his job as a record store clerk, and isn't going for a promotion. I wasn't going for a promotion either, but getting demoted, wasn't what I planned. To get on a good foot with the supiriors, I brought home Gunnar Roque, I though I could get my mind of things by flirting a little bit with him, but when I did that, this crazy woman came runner towards him and slapped him in the face. I didn't get a promotion, and Gunnar left right away!
Our landlord doesn't allow us to hire any service, so when something is broke, we have to ask him to fix it! Unfortunatly, the man has other work as well, and has a leaking mind, we had to ask him 3 times to come and fix the television, before he actually did. A good thing about this is that we save money, and since I got demoted, we need the money!

Note: Chao brought Gunnar home with her, the same day she got demoted, and I thought she could have a little affair with him. So I let her flirt with him, but I didn't see Fen Mishoen walking by, so she saw Chao flirting with Gunnar and got furious about it! Unfortunatly I forgot to take pictures about this!

Zang 1 - Round 4

The Zang Family

Tao is 46, Yena is 42, Xiang and Xun are 17 and Yuan is 10

Yena: Life in SimsVille is going it's way. The kids are going to school, and are making some friends. Tao is working on his robots, and when Xun is at home, he helps his father. I was lucky to get a transfer, because if I had to look for a job in SimsVille, I would have needed a degree. I talked to Tao about it, there are only a few jobs you can get without a degree, and sience isn't one of them. On top of that, you need to qualify to get accepted to go to university, so Xiang will need to work really hard!
Xun won't go to university because Tao will need his help, and you don't need a degree to run a business. I know he's not happy about that, but he doesn't have the necessary skills to go anyway. His last days as a teen, he spend with this girl, Tosca, she's a few yours younger then he is, and she will go to university, and since Xun is becomming 18 soon, they will need to seperate soon.
Xun became an adult, and started crafting robots with his dad, they need to build up a stock before they open the shop. Xiang didn't celebrate his birthday, although he's 18 too, but he will soon be leaving for university. Before we knew it, we had 2 teens in the house again, Yuan celebrated his teen-birthday.
Then there was the bog day! Tao Technology opened his doors! We are selling robots, and all kinds of electrical appliances you use in your house, for now only small things, but when it's a succes, we will be selling bigger appliances too.
It seemed like the shop really was a succes, something they didn't have, and needed in SimsVille. Tao and Xun are constantly restocking and handling the cash register, because of the succes.
On the second day we were already granted with the Best of the Best Award! Tao and Xun were so proud when they came home that night, and told us all about it!
Xun is doing fine in the shop with his father, and the shop is fantastic, and Xiang is doing great in school, and it seems like he will have the necessary amount of skill to qualify for university. I've gotten one promotion since we moved here, and I'm working really hard on the next one. Yuan has his own things in life to think of.
One day, he took this girl out, apparently he had a great time, because he didn't come home until 8 am the next morning! I was furious! To top things of, we's gotten a call from school, telling that Yuan will need to work harder otherwise he will be expelled! This was his first and last date!

Note: It's not that I'm not following my own rules about jobs, but I figure that sims comming to SimsVille from somewhere else can have the job they want, their kids however, whether they are teen, child, toddler of baby, will have to follow the same rules as anybody else living in SimsVille.

Wagtmans 1 - Round 4

Harry is 31 and Mairi is 30

Mairi: I've been uneployed for too long now! I need a job, I want a job, but don't seem to able to find one!
I spend my days looking for a job, but that's something you can't do all day long. So I got talk to the neighbors, and spend some time with Lulu, my dog.
Since I don't have a job, it doens't mean I can't work on my skills. So that's something I do a lot too.
My nights of course I spend with Harry. He truly is the love of my life! But recently he started talking about kids. It's not that I don't want some, but I'm just not ready. I even don't have a job yet, and the appartment is way too small to have a child running around.
But Harry is doing fine, he's gotten a promotion, and is working hard for another one, so for him it's a good time for children. And I know we're getting older, so I know we don't have all the time in the world, but I don't want them now!
I finally found the job I want! In architecture. I'm so glad to have found it! Now we can start to save up money to buy a house. And Harry can start to look forward to his wish for children.
We talked about it some more one night, and we decided to first look for a nice, spacious house, and when we are settled in, we will try to have some kids.

de Leeuw 1 - Round 4

Johnny is 52, Larissa is 42 and Elisa is 5

Larissa: I really love it here, SimsVille is rather amazing. I was able to find the man of my dreams, and we now have an amazing daughter. Our house is looking great as well, and lately we were able to do something extra with it.
Also the intirior is getting a boost. We've gotten a call from Ella Rai, saying the portrait we orderd was finished. So on his day off Johnny went to Rai Arts to pick it up. It now hangs very pretty in the study.
Elisa is doing fine in school, actually fantastic, not just fine. We try to help her with her homework most of the time, but we both have full-time jobs, so it's not possible every day.
My latest promotion, gave us some extra money, and we decided to spend it on the garden. Since Elisa loves sports, we've gotten her her own football goal in the garden. Johnny and I both wanted a pool, but our garden just is too small, so now we've created a nice patio where we can barbeque.
I always have the weekends off, so I was able to spend it with Elisa. On saturday, I took her to the playground. I was hoping there would be more kids, but she was the only one.

Nevertheless we had a great time.
Back home, Johnny invited us to a dinner at The Pier, to celebrate his last day of adulthood, and the huge bonus he got at work. He also invited Mairi, his oldest daughter. It was nice, the four of us together. And The Pier has an excellent restaurant.
Back home, Johnny celebrated his birthday. He got a little bit insecure about his age, but I assured him that he still look amazing, and that I still love him!
On sunday, Elisa kept asking me to go back to The Pier. She loved the beach. So I took her. We spend some time at the beach, and afterwards we had lunch at the restaurant.
To finish things off, Johnny asked to visit his father's grave. So to finish a great weekend we went to the cemetary. Johnny was haertbroken when he was mourning. It was hard for Elisa to see.
Well, we had a fantastic weekend, but I can't wait for the week t begin again.
