Terrano 1 - Summer 2011

The Terrano Family
Nio is 19, Stella is 22
Nio: I love living of my own, but I miss my little sister. She's 10 years younger than I am, so that may sound strange, but I really miss her. I think I miss her the most, and Tika of course, but she calls me and I call her. But Tina is always busy with schoolwork, at least that what she tells me, I think she's after the boys.
I have been thinking of a family of my own for some time now, I know I'm only 19, and that that is very young to think of something like that, but it's just me I gues. I'm still realistic, I don't want children right now, I want a job right now, but some day, I would love children of my own.
Stella wants children too, but just like me, she wants us to settle in life, have a place of our own one day, get married before we have children; do everything right. So one night I've gotten down on one knee and asked Stella to marry me, and she said yes!
It was a lucky night for me, because that same night I found a job! I work now as an aerobics instructor, the first day of work I wore a suit, but I soon found out that that was a bad idea, so it was the first and the last time I did that.
Thankfully I had a spare outfit with me, one that was more suitable for the job. I love my work, I don't really need a promotion right away, I'm going to enjoy every step of the ladder.
When we come from work, Stella and I try to get to know the neighbors a little bit beter. There are some strange sims living in the building, playing on the swing all day long, it's fun for some time, but a whole day?
Stella is more focused on her job than I am. At least she's more focused on skilling. When she gets tired of the neighbors she just goes upstairs to play chess, all on her own.
When she's so focused on playing chess, I just leave her, and talk to the neighbors. One night Tika stopped by to look where I live. She's my best friend, and we talked for hours.
But the nights are ours. Just Stella and me. No neighbors, no work, no chesstables, just me and Stella and the night. She's just amazing!

Note: I don't give big, fancy weddings, so I will them just get married the next time I play them. They don't have that much family they want to invite anyway.
Nio is a family-sim so I thought of letting him tell the story, and be focused on a family rather than a career.

This was the last family of round 6. I will upload the new playlist as soon as possible!

Verbon 1 - Summer 2011

Last update/Next update

The Verbon Family
Olaf is 31, Mia is 30
Mia: I love the house where we live in, it's just a shame we can't buy the house. The neighbors are great, and are young families as well. I would love to live here the rest of my life, but I also want a house of my own!
But to buy we need money, and without a job there isn't much money comming in. Olaf has a nice inherritage, but we can't live of that forever. I'm also getting tired of searching the internet every day without finding a job. So Olaf and I went to the Town Square City Hall, to look at the wall boards there, and we both came home with a job.
Afterwards we went to the Animal Paradise to buy a cat, and everything a cat needs. There is so much choice, it's so hard to choose!
To my surprise we bumped into my brother! It's been ages since I last saw him, and it was great seeing him again. He told me he's living with Ada right now, I wonder how that will go. I think we will invite them over soon, I don't want it to be this long before I see him again!
Back home, Olaf and I enjoyed our last day at home, with hours of sunbathing in the garden, Olaf has gotten a nice tan, while I only got burned. We were lucky with the weather too, because the next day it started pouring.
Having a cat in the house was Olaf's idea, but I actually like it. It's nice to take care of something.
But Olaf has also been wanting a child ever since we got married, and when I see the Belio's with their children I can't hardly wait to have one of my own. I just wished they came out like children and not like those little crying babys where you have to take care of.
So Olaf and I talked about the topic, and Olaf assured me that he will be there to take care of the baby once we have one. And so we desided to try for a baby.
The next day, was my first day of work, I start ealy and stop early too. When I got home that first day, I was so tired, I took a nap untill Olaf came home! I think the first day of work was harder then I thought.

Birthdays - summer 2011

No real birthdays this season, only the anouncement of a pregnancy!
Hans and Yin Mokara are expecting their 3rd (and maybe 4th) child! The baby is due for the winter of 2012!
Since Mairi Wagtmans got pregnant of her second child, she has been sleeping very bad, one of those nights, when she was cleaning the bathroom, her time had come!
Soon the Wagtmans family was extended with another boy. Collin Wagtmans has his fathers blond hair, and his mother's green eyes.

Zanobi 2 - Spring 2011

Last update/Next update

The Zanobi Family
Dimitri is 29, Andrea is 31, Matthew is 6 and Marlys is 2
Andrea: I love spring-time; a time of blooming flowers and trees, a time to just sit and watch nature, without it being too hot to enjoy it.
I can also enjoy the weekends, although I miss going to work. Dimitri still opens the shop in the weekends, but he tries to be with the kids before he has to go. He melts when Marlys smiles at him when he takes her out of her crib.
But soon enough he has to leave to open the shop. He's thinking about hiring someone to restock, because it's getting a little bit too much to do on his own. Selling the products, handling the cash register, and in the mean time keeping the shelfs filled. I think he has to wait a little bit longer, maybe Matthew will help him in a few years, and at the moment he can still handle it.
When Dimitri is gone, I try to play with both kids as much as I can. Playing with Marlys isn't that hard, she's happy with every bit of attention you give her. Matthew on the other hand is a little bit harder to satisfy.
He has come to an age where playing with his mom isn't cool anymore. So he invites friends over to play with. His best friend at the moment is Morgan Penninkmeijer, he's 2 years younger, but they seem to have a lot of fun together.
On sunday I forced Dimitri to take Matthew to the playground. The boy has been asking for it like forever, and I didn't want Dimitri to open the shop today. Despite the fact that there are hardly any adults at the playground, both Dimitri and Matthew had an amazing time. Matthew couldn't stop talking about it when he came home!
When the boys where out, I enjoyed my last moments with my little girl, soon she will be 4 and not too long after that she will thing playing with mom isn't cool either.
That same night Marlys had her 4th birthday. This time Dimitri was home to celebrate with the rest of the family.
Now the Marlys is a child too, Dimitri wants to have a familyporstrait. His parents had one taken when their sons were both teens, and we have a copy of that one in our livingroom. I have to admit, I like it, I really do, so I think we will have one taken of our family too, but I don't know when exactly.

Mokara 1 - Spring 2011

Last update/Next update

The Mokara Family
Hans is 38, Yin is 35 and Melina is 6
Yin: After a long and hard search we found a house to live in. It's rental too, we can't afford anything else right now and it's a nice house.
Hans and I like to lay down on the lawn and cuddle. He loves to put his hand on my belly and feel the baby kick.
When he goes to work, I try to get to know the neighbors a little bit beter. They are really nice people. But I get tired too fast, so I have to go to bed to take a nap really soon.
One of the down-sides with renting is not being able to hire a repairman. If something breaked we have to contact the landlord, ours seems to know what he's doing, but I've heard some horror-stories and I fear that so much!
Between Hans and I, the love stil looks like the love of teenagers, he can hardly keep his hands of me, and I can't keep my hands of him either.
That love has already given us Melina, and now we also welcomed David in our little family! He totally looks like the oposite of Melina, and this only because of his skintone.
I hope David and Melina will get along well soon, she seems so loneley sometimes. She never brings home friends from school, and it breaks my heart, because she's such a sweet child. She plays chess with her dad, and she loves it, but a child her own age to play with would be nice.
After David was born, Hans and I said we wanted another child, rather sooner than later. So we tried for another one. I never thought I would get pregnant that soon, but it seems like I am!

Note: Since Hans has the option to have a higher chance of twins, I always thought they would have twins, so I was surprised when Yin gave birth to only one child! I've always wanted this family to have 3 children, I let the try for another baby really soon, so David and the new baby will be close in age, and Yin immidiatly got pregnant. I wonder now if they will have twins or not...

Belio 1 - Winter 2011

Last update/Next update

The Belio Family
Bram is 36, Ling is 35, Johanna is 11 and Steven and Stephan are 2
Ling: Sometimes I still feel bad about tricking Bram into having another child. Especially since we've gotten twins.
But looking at those to little boys, makes my hart melt, and I know they have the same effect on their father. He absolutely adores them!
When he's in the shop, wich still is going really great, I stay home and look after the twins. They keep you busy during the day, so I never get bored.
And Bram takes care of the boys when I go to work. He's rather fine with the arrangement. But since the boys keep you busy during the day, the whole day, he's has no opportunity to craft thing for the shop, and he really needs to do so, because the stock is almost empy!
The only one not adjusting is Johanna. She doesn't do a thing around the house, and she doesn't help out with the boys. We don't ask much, just to clean your plate when you finished eating, but she just sits in frot of the TV all day long if you let her. She has come home with some really bad grades, I think is was a D-, one day, and we had to force her into doing her homework. It hasn't had much effect on her, she still doesn't do it. I don't know what we are going to do with her!
I hope Steven and Stephan will do much beter in school, and do their homework a lot more than Johanna does. They now turned 4, and will start school soon too.

Min 1 - Winter 2011

Last update/Next update

The Min Family
Quan is 40, Chu is 39, Anna is 11 and Benny is 5
Chu: I was glad when Benny turned 4, this meant we were done with daipers. I'm also glad that Quan doesn't have the urge for lots of children like his sisters and their husbands, I'm happy with my 2!
We can't afford any more anyway. We can't even afford a housekeeper or a gardner and we both aren't the cleanest people. I can barely bring myself to clean something in the house and the only thing Quan wants to do is trim the bushes once in a while!
Anna isn't much help either! When she gets home from school she plays videogames or is on the phone all the time. Benny is only 5 so we can't expect him to keep the house clean, we are already happy when he finishes his homework, and he does that amazingly, wich is more than we can say from Anna.
To make things even worse, we were visited by a burlar, since we don't have a lot of money we didn't have a burglaralarm. But wether we can afford it or not we're getting one now! That stupid policeman wasn't able to cathc the guy! Firts it took him like forever to get to our house, and than the burglar was gone, of course! We were able to replace most of the things.
The same night the burlgar came, it had been snowing really hard. When Anna and Benny woke up, most of the snow was already gone, but Anna talked to Benny about getting the day off from school because of the snow. The boy was totally obsessed with it, and was so disappointed when the schoolbus arrived to pick them up. Anna wasn't glad either.
To get some more money, Quan started digging for treasures in the garden. Our garden is full of holes at the moment. He finds some stuff, but not really expensive stuff where others would give a lot of money for.
Dispite his lack of enthousiasm for school that day, Benny came home with an A+! I know you shouldn't compare your kids, but I can still wish Anna would more her best, she only has a C+, and I know she can do a lot beter!
Benny came to greet me when I got home from work that day, to tell me about his good grades. He was so happy about it, and he kept talking about it al night long!
Anna wasn't too happy with her parents that night. Since it was a fridaynight she wanted to go out, but since she's only 12, Quan and I desided she could only go out on saturdays. So while Benny couldn't stop talking, we've gotten the silent-treatment from Anna. It's such a joy; children!
