Sya: When I first graduated Marie and I moved in with my parents. Since Tika and her husband and child live their too, and since they were thinking about another child, the house was a little bit too crowded. Mom and dad saved some money for me and Marie also had a little bit savings, so we were able to buy a little house in Simmeria.
It's a nice home and we feel well at home already, although it may be a little bit small once we start a family. But for now it's great.
After settling in, we found it rather easy to pick up our life again. Marie is a little bit nervous because the school will open its doors for the first time next winter, and she wants everything to be perfect, she's constantly in front of the mirror practicing her lessons! I tell her all the time that there's no need for such things, but she's stuborn.
Since Marie doesn't have much time lately, I try to keep myself busy. My best friend, Marcus Young, lives in Simmeria as well, not so far from where we live, we talk on the phone almost every day. I also meet with him a lot these days. I find it a little bit strange since he has a girlfriend and he hardly spends any time with her, but he doesn't don't want to talk about it, so I just let it.
At night I like to watch the stars through my telescope, I find it very calming. I love sports more, but we don't have any room in the garden to put down some sportitems, and I really don't want to go to the gym all the time, so I have to settle with other things.
Nights are also the only time Marie gets aways from the mirror, and ask to spend some time with me. Most of the time we spend it in the spare bedroom, discussing what we will do with it. We both want kids, and this room is nice for one, but we are still young, and we want to do everything in the right order, and we want to get married first, so maybe in a couple of years.
Dimitri: Since there were some constructural problems with out house, Andrea and I made the decision to more. The architect usured us that there was no danger, but we both didn't feel safe any more, we demanded a huge part of our money back and talked to another architect for a new house.
I have to say it looks great, and Andrea did a great job on the intirior as well. I have to say we are as happy here, as we were in the old one, if not happier!
Since we were redoing almost everything, I decided to redo the shop as well. It seems like I can display a lot more items right now. Customers keep comming in large numbers, wich was something I didn't expect. One day everybody would have a pet, but it seems like this isn't the case in SimsVille, and you won't hear me complaining!
Andrea's job is going fine as well. I still worry though. She still works nights, and climbs into bed early in the morning. before she has to leave for work, she has a little time with the children. Sometimes I wish she would get a promotion, but on the other hand maybe a promotion would get her an even more dangerous job!
The children really love the lunches and dinners they have with their mother, especially Marlys enjoys her mom's attention.
Matthew is really growing up too fast. He wants it all a little bit too soon. One day, when I came home from the shop, I saw him kissing a girl! He's only 11, he's way too young! I tried talking to him about it, but he just told me that it's his life. Andrea thinks the same as I do, but she also thinks Matthew is right; it's his life, and he should deside what he wants to do with it.
He still works hard for school though, and he's still very keen to go to university in a few years, and he still wants to finish high school as the top of his class, so as long as he does those things, I really don't have anything to say about it!
Marlys is still all about toys and bears, and playing in the playground. These thoughts are thoughts that parents want from their children. But she's only 7, so I gues that's normal, she will become a little lady in a few years.
Andrea and I don't have much time for each other lately. So one nigth I surprised her with a dinner at the new restaurant. It was nice, just the 2 of us. We were surprised to find the children sound asleep in their beds when we got home!
