I was glad when Jo finally found a jod. It seems to be hard finding one in show bizz, and when you do find one, they aks you to weat the weirdest outfits. She has been a commercial actress for some months before she got promoted, and it was kind of funny to see all the different outfits she was asked to wear.
She recently got promoted though, and now she's doing cartoon voices. I know she can't wait to get promoted again, because this really isn't what she wants to do, but in the mean time she's in front of the mirror practising her voices.
I got promoted as well, and I don't really like my current jog that much. I'm the event's coördinator's assistend, which basically means doing everything the coördinator doens't feel like doing. I won't get promoted any day soon, since they want my cooking to get better, and I practise a lot, but still manage to burn a lot of it.
In the mean time, married life is treating is pretty good. It's just the 2 of us for now, and to be honest we know we both want kids, but the topic hasn't come up yet. At the moment we're just enjoying each other.
Jo meets with Anna quite a lot in the park, and I know she loves haning out with her and the boys.
They're out for hours sometimes, just talking. I know Jo thinks Alex and Carl are growing up too fast, and that's one of the things that scare her a little bit about having kids of her own.
At the moment we both have such impossible hours though, that dinner is hardly ever served before 9PM, and that's now something a kid would be happy with. So it might be wise to wait a little longer.
Or days of nights off are mostly filled with meeting up with family. I have 5 siblings, and I can't really meet all of them every week, but I do try to see Lawrence at least once a week, he's my twin and best friend.
Both Lawrence and I love bowling, so ussualy we go bowling at the Blue-o-Rama. We are both very competitive, wich sometimes makes it less fun for the others to play.
Meeting up with my parents also is something we try to do every week, they are the parents after all. As much as mom is a family-person, she loves going out for dinner. So whenever we meet they take us out.
I'm really glad both mom and dad like Jo. They can both be very stuborn, and I wouldn't want to be in the situation where neither of them disliked jo. They do keep asking us when their will be grandchildren, they would love to have more.
They really aren't the only ones asking these kind of things. Jo's mother keeps asking us as well, every time she comes by. Jo's dad however kind of feels he's too young to be a granddad and always changes the subject whenever it come up.
The nights Jo has to work, I'm at home alone most of the time. I like inviting Lawrence over on those nights. Last time he told me, he and Kenneth are looking into adopting. They already started the proces and intervies and all those things and hope to have kid soon. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for them, they will be great parents.
The nights we're both at home we sometimes just act like teens, but it's so much fun!
- No kids yet here. Even though Jo already rolled the want and I locked it, Jack still hasn't rolled the want, so I let them wait a little bit longer. It wouldn't hurt my hood to cut back on babies, now would it?
- I had fun taking them out to different lots and meeting up with the family. It's really fun to do. It's going to be harder to do when there's a kid running around.
- Don't you just hate the outfit sims have to wear when they are commercial actors?? Sorry I just had to get it out of my system!
- About Kenneth and Lawrence's adotion; they both rolled the want, so I decided to let them go on with it. Their adoption won't be for this round though, we'll see more about it next round!
- I took new pictures of Jack and Jo for their profile, I'll try to get them up later today.
