The Mishoen Family

Marc is 47, Nuan is 42, Tika is 16 and Sya is 8

Tika: My last days being a teen, are making wonder, wether it was a good decision not to choose to go to university. I don't need a degree to take of the salon, but what if I change my mind someday? What if I want something more than just opening a shop.
Me working in the salon, didn't go well everytime. And some days it made mom loose more money than win, because I messed up, a lot!
But lately things have been going beter. Sims even walk out happy after I did their hair! And mom doesn't need to give as much free make-overs as before. So that is good.
Much time to think I didn't have. Soon I celebrated my 18th birthday, and I desided to stay with my dicision, and not go to university. Right now the dicision feels good.
Not long after my 18th birthday, Sya also celebrated hers, she now is 11. We were never that close, but I think it's time to get along a lot beter!
But that is hard! She's always chatting on the computer, painting, or playing with Chowy, and when I ask something, she has no time for me!
But during the weekend, she finally had some time. So, I took her out. Being an adult gives me some benefits, when I became a teen, mom wouldn't let me go to Gunnar's Karaoke Café, she wouldn't say why, but now I'm an adult, and mom can't forbid me anything anymore, so I took Sya to the Café. We sang some songs, sat at the bar and talked some. It was nice, afterwards we went bowling too, she's not really good at it.
Life is going great for now. But when we have familydinners, I just know I miss something in my life! Maybe it's just some fun, some parties, I just keep telling myself that. But I know I want a family too, I just feel I'm a little bit too young now.

Note: I think the Mishoen-children look great (all 4 of them), but I just think Tika looks fantastic!

Mishoen 1 - Round 4

The Mishoen Family

Gruns is 79, Fen is 38, Goofy is 35 and Nio is 9

Goofy: I never thought I would want a child of my own. But I've been living here since Fen's boy, Nio, was a baby, and I loved being around him, and spending time with him. The only thought that kept running my mind was that he wasn't my own, so now Fen is expecting my child!
I still don't know who Nio's father is, Fen doesn't want to tell because he's married. Anyway, he's boy is weird sometimes. We've added a fitnessarea to the house, and he asked to a balletbar! Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I just don't think that's something boys do.
Fen and her father don't mind at all. Well, Fen doesn't care about anythin Nio does. But Gruns is just happy his grandson is showing some intrest is fitness. He even makes him a strong breakfast every morning, so he can practice well!
Soon I was the proud father of a wonderfull little girl, named Tina Mishoen. She's the most adorable little girl I've ever seen. I'm happy to see that Fen is spending a lot of time with Tina, she's even changing daipers!
Even though Gruns adores his new grandchild, he doesn't miss out on his morningjogs. I know he misses running the fitness center, ever since Fen got pregnant, it has been closed, and he always loves being there, around customers. To be honest, I do miss some things myself, I haven't been out in ages, despite all the new things that have opened in SimsVille.
But then again, seeing Tina's face on her 1ste birthday, I didn't want to miss that, not for any outing in the world. She still is the most fantastic kid in the world.
Nio also celebrated his birthday. He now is 11 years old, and he declared the wish to one day become a world class ballet dancer. I really don't know what's with that boy, always with his mind at dancing. The only thing that counts is that he is happy I gues. To make him into a real boy, I will take him out with me some day, I've heard Gunnar's Karaoke Café is a great place.
Gruns really adores Tina. Since the fitness center still isn't open again, he spends all of his time with her. Fen really wants her to get to know her grandfather, he's not getting any younger.
I don't know why, but before we knew it, Tina became 4. It seems like just yesterday she was born. Unfotunatly her birthday wasn't that happy. Her grandfather passed away that same night, Fen was right, he wasn't getting any younger.

Note: Since Goofy is a romance/family-sim, I figured he would want a child of his own, and Tina turned out pretty well. Of course Goofy and Fen are not the sit-at-home-and-watch-the-kids-type of sims, so soon they will go out again!

Gradonni 1 - Round 4

The Gradonni Family

Kürt is 40, Debby is 33 en Abby and Annie are 11

Debby: When I was still in school, I met Kürt, and we made this plans for the future, Kürt always wanted a farm, and sell his produce. I followed him, where he wanted to go, and we got started. But since the move I haven't been a great help, first there were the girls; taking care of them took all of my time. And when they started school, the only think I could think of was another child.
But I have to be realistic! Abby and Annie are teens now, and they started talking about university and boys. We need to save money for them to be able to go to univerisity, so we don't have to money for another child. And to be honest, I think the girls are a little bit too old to have a babybrother or -sister!
So instead of moping around, I started helping Kürt in the greenhouse. In the mean time I also keep fishing, because we need the fish to prepare the fresh cooked meals.
Unfortunatly that doesn't go too well all the time. One time, I got so distracket, I can't even remember by what, that the fish cought fire and set the stove on fire. Since we don't have a fire alarm, the counter next to it cought fire too, before we could call the fire department!
Kürt spends a lot of time in the shop as well. And it's going great! Citizens of SimsVille really love fresh products! Both the vegetables and the meals sell really well.
Kürt is so proud! He just wishes one of the girls would show some interest in taking over his lifework.
But they have other things on their minds right now. They are both working on their skils, since they need 8 point to qualify for university. Abby is even willing to cook dinner every night to try her cooking skills!
When they are not busy with their skills, or their homework, they still help in the greenhouse, espescially now Kürt is in the shop most of the days. They are also really busy with how they look, and are talking about boys with eachother all the time!
My little girls are really growing up.
I think I will need to stop thinking about that fact, and just enjoy their time still left with us. And when they leave for university, I will start focusing on the time with my husband and enjoy that time.

Note: Debby has got the wish for another child, ever since the girls became toddlers (family-sims; what can you do about it), Kürt on the other hand seems to be happy to have just 2 girls, but suddenly the want for another child was gone with Debby, so I desided to use this in the update.

Upper SimsVille

A growing hood is always in need of expanding, and so is SimsVille. Although SimsVille itself is rather small neighbourhood (downloaded it here) there still is some space for expanding. Currently I'm creating several community lots for my sims to visit, but I thought they needed something more.

So I've added Upper SimsVille!

It's called Upper, because I thought Simsville is located at the beach, and Upper SimsVille isn't, that Upper SimsVille is located higher. I downloaded the hood here, and added the downtownlots from the downtownarea that came with Nightlife. I've also added some appartmentbuildings, and some small houses for my sims to live in.
For the moment there is nobody living in Upper SimsVille, but I think that the 1ste sim will be moving there, at the start of round 6.

Roque 1 - Round 4

The Roque Family

Gunnar is 39, Frieda is 37 and Françoise is 3

Frieda: Life is going it's way. We were able to do something with the garden, and we build a garage. Sometimes I want to quit my job, Gunnar makes more than enough money, and so does the café, when it's open that is.
Since Françoise is growing so fast, and Gunnar agreed on a second child, I think there is more than enough to do at home, that I miss now by going to work.
I need to talk to Gunnar about that. When I stop with my daytime job, I also have more time to go to the café with him.
Françoise is now a child, and a sweet one she is. I just know she will do good in everything she does!
Gunnar in the mean time is working hard in getting promotions. Not that we need the money, but I let him.
He also tries to kiss Françoise goodnight every night. I know she likes that. She adores her dad. Every day,when he comes home from work, she runs out to greet him.
She can only enjoy this time together, soon she will have to share because I found out I'm pregnant again.
I gave birth to another girl. Meet Eleanora Roque! She looks just like her big sister when she was a baby, brown eyes, black hair, just their father.
I'm happy to have another girl. Gunnar wanted a boy, but he seems quit happy to have Eleanora too. He even spends time with her, although she's still a baby, he hardly did that with Françoise.
Françoise is thrilled to have a sister. Every time when I go to the kitchen to feed Eleanora, she's there, asking me if she can play with her. It's sweet to see the 2 of them together.
Like I said, I'm happy with my girls, for me no more children, I just know Gunnar feels the same way!

Penninkmeijer 1 - Round 4

The Penninkmeijer Family

Frederik is 45, Bianca is 37, Catherine is 10 and Jack and Lawrence are 5

Catherine: Finally I'm a teen! I have been waiting for this day for so long. Now it's my time to prove dad that I can be a great heir!
Dad is kind of old-fashioned; he only wants a boy to be the heir, and it has to be the oldest. Since I'm the oldest, but since I'm a girl, he doesn't see me as the heir. Jack and Lawrence were born after me, and Jack is the oldest, so he is the heir. But I want to be the heir! So it's time for me to prove that I can be!
Mom wants a lot of children, and I think she didn't found 3 was enough, because we welcomed 2 new sisters into our family; Laura and Gabriëlle. I'm kind of wondering if mom would think 5 is a lot, because I really think it is!
Since the girls are born, mom asked me to help around the house. So now I'm helping taking care of the girls, helping in the house, working hard on school, and doing some extra skilling, to prove to dad I'm worth to be the heir. It's hard, but I need to keep it up, otherwise dad will never see I'm beter!
Life is only getting harder. Laura and Gabriëlle are toddlers now. And they are really hectic, and busy. It only gives me more to do. When I have a family of my own, I only want 1 child, mayde 2, at the most!
On top of it all, mom found out she's pregnant again! I really truly hope this is the last one. I'm thinking about getting an after-schooljob, but that only would give me even more to do. By the way, I will be leaving for uni soon!
I think I'm finally getting through to dad. Last night, he found a pile of homework from Jack, and when we all had to do out homework, Jack only sat down for a couple of minutes, than said he was done, and went to play some videogames. Lawrence and I worked hard, and then studied some more on our skills. I really hope to move back home when I graduate, I really love this house!

Zanobi 1 - Round 4

The Zanobi Family

Stephan is 55, Virginie is 52, Lucas and Sophie are 25, Andrea is 24 and Dimitri is 22

Sophie: I know I said I would try not to be so jealous anymore, but everything happening in Andrea's life is what I want, and what I don't get!
I want Lucas to marry me, and I want a child. And, I know it sounds silly, but since Lucas is the oldest, I want our child to be the oldest too. But no! That's not my life! Andrea foud out she's pregnant, and not Lucas and I haven't even tried for a baby yet!
Since Dimitri wants his child to be a true Zanobi, he and Andrea got married as soon as possible. I know Lucas asked me, and I know we are engaged now, but sometimes I feel like thats the farthest we are going to go! He never talked about marriage anymore after!
I think Dimitri finally saw something was bothering me, because he talked to me and asked me what was bothering, and I told everything! So he agreed on having a child! I don't know what it is with this man and commitment! I wanted to get married fist! Having the oldest child, wasn't going to happen for us anymore, so then I at least wanted to do in the right order, but Lucas thought otherwise! And since he's giving me something I want, I can't complain, can I?
Some other news in the family; my mother-in-law turned 55. We celebrated with a cake, and the whole family sat down together to celebrate, it was nice.
That same night, Andrea gave birht to first Zanobi heir; Matthew Zanobi. He has bright green eyes, and red hair, like his grandmother. Both grandparents immidiatly adored him!
And the day after I found out I'm pregnant! I can't wait to see this little one! Lucas was happy, but not as excited as I hoped he would have been. My father-in-law on the other hand was thrilled. He can't wait for another grandchild!
Unfortunatly he won't be around to see this little one! One night, he just died! It was so unexpected. I know everybody dies, but he was only 59 years old!
Everybody was down after that incident, nobody went to work, and the restaurant stayed closed. Virginie mainly focused on the little Matthew, and I tried to comfort Lucas as much as I could, and Andrea did the same with Dimitri.
Little Matthew's first birhtday wasn't as joyful as we all planned, but he turned out great! After his birthday, Dimitri and Andrea moved to their newly build house next door.
